Where anatomy and cartography collide

I have been amazed at how maps have been used to visually represent data in different forms; often discussed on Gary’s Bloggage at vicchi.org. However, after some time, I have found a map that aptly fits in with my day job.

“Where anatomy and cartography collides”, is my title for the representation produced by Gore (W L Gore and Associates). Depicting the arterial and venous blood vessels as a highway laid on a map is, I feel, a piece of art in its self.
